About the institute
Don Bosco Technical School, Liluah, has rendered 80 years of service, skilling the country particularly the state of West Bengal. It is one of the premier state of the art technical schools, run by the Salesians of Don Bosco of the Kolkata Province.

The institute has set its goal while molding honest citizens to prepare them to meet the industrial needs and to earn a decent livelihood. And to benefit the full use of the human potential, the courses here are aligned to meet international requirements. It implies national standards for an in-demand skill set with national/global mobility that translates into better jobs.

The institute is resolved to give formal employment opportunities to the students. To meet the modern technological breakthrough, the institute keeps updating its infrastructure and machineries. The strategies followed in the institute address work-relevant education systems, career guidance, life-skills, and technical, vocational education and training schemes, along with on-the-job training in both formal and non-formal sectors.

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machines to answer the current demands of the industry, well- furnished class rooms and labs with all the state of the art equipment’s is a singular pride of Don Bosco Liluah.

The courses offered are FORMAL AND NON-FORMAL. Candidates are prepared for the All India Trade Test conducted by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) under Directorate General of Training (DGT) Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. Certificate for Vocational Education (CVE–12), of the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. Education is a matter of the heart at Don Bosco. The institute is equipped with a group of dedicated and skilled teaching faculty who are ever present with the students. The environment is very homely and ample opportunities are also given for recreational facilities.
