St Paul's School, Bidhan Nagar, is a Christian minority co-education English Medium School recognized by the Government of West Bengal School Education Department and affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE), New Delhi, established and under the Religious jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Bagdogra Diocese managed by Sisters of Mary Immaculate (SMI).

The School is named after Saint Paul who was a learned Scholar and a great teacher of the first Century AD. His conviction was that all human being, created in the image and likeness of God are called to love one's neighbours in Imation of Jesus Christ whose fervent disciple Saint Paul was. Thus excellence in all aspects of life is the goal of the school. Being a Christian Institution, all the students must attend classes of Moral Science, which deal with moral principles, values and rules of conduct. A student must strive to attain qualities of mind and heart and integrate into his life virtue such as honesty, sincerity, piety, compassion, generosity, love for nature and self-reliance.

Admission to Nursery, LKG and UKG
Mary Immaculate School, Bidhan Nagar is established and administered by the registered society of Kolkata Province of Catechist Sisters of Mary Immaculate Help of Christians. It is a minority educational institution belonging to the Catholic Church. Provision is also made for admission of students of other faiths.

Those pupils promoted from UKG, may seek admission to Class 1. Enrollment in St Paul's School implies on the part of the students and parents willingness to comply with the requirement and regulations of the school.

Admission to Class 1 to 6
• Parents who seek admission of their children are requested to submit a written application with the progress report of the student. Parents are asked to fill in the admission form with the utmost accuracy. No subsequent changes will be permitted.
• A student who has attended another school cannot be admitted without a transfer certificate from the school he/she has attended. In the case of such transfer cases, it is essential that the candidate has studied previously in an English medium school. Boys from Class 8 onwards are not admitted.
• The students will be tested in the standard immediately below that to which they seek admission. Selection will be made on the basis of academic performance. That is 50% in English and Mathematics.
• The Principal is the final authority in guaranteeing the admission and her decision is final and binding on all.

The aim of the school is to guide the students to acquire true wisdom and sound knowledge through value based education and to form in them habits of piety, virtue, discipline and self reliance. The school lays great emphasis on love of God and service to society. Due to the current pandemic (covid 2019-2022) situation we have moved forward and taken the leap to conduct Online Exams so that our students are up to date with time and knowledge.

Not only that, besides for themselves, they can also help their friends or others who are also in need in times of unavoidable trouble which may occur.
